The unexplained truth about Westray

It was over twenty six years ago that the Westray mining explosion occurred when twenty-six men who were working underground on late shift were still trapped and were eventually killed in the explosion. Since then, it was the worst mind-blowing disasterous event that had changed the pace of Westray forever. It was a foggy morning on May 9th, 1992 when an underground methanine explosion had rippled through the Westray coal mine in Plymouth, Nova Scotia killing twenty-six miners in the process. This event has forever changed Pictou County. In the years that followed, the public came to learn that the mining disaster was caused by a reckless disregard for miners safety, poor oversight by government regulators, and mismanagement of the mine itself. It has been and will always be the blackest of marks in Canadian history. It was a tragedy of all sorts when the mining disaster occurred, the Westray coal mine opened in Plymouth in Fall of 1991 and had been in operation for a scanted eight-month period. Eight months later in May 1992, disaster struck when the twenty six miners who went underground were still trapped and the mining explosion killed all twenty-six miners on board. Since then, it was the biggest but worst mind blowing disaster in the history of Pictou County. Although twenty six years have passed since the Westray mining explosion, there were so many speculations that abroad the circumference of the indeliably, unsourced nature of the human aspect, there were some other ways that many would come to think that the mining explosion was not considered to be accidental and therefore cannot be explained.

In 2004, 12 years after this devastating explosion occurred, The Westray bill came to pass when many people gathered around to watch the event unfold behind them. The United Steelworkers Union had gathered to see the damage and destruction being caused by the event. The mining explosion and the eventual killings of twenty-six miners were all a part of Westray history. This memorial event was held in Plymouth at the former site of the Westray coal mine and has been each and every year since the explosion happened where many people would gather around to honor those who were killed in the explosion. The Westray mining disaster and the hunt for all twenty-six men trapped underground became a part of Canadian history.

Since the explosion, there were many speculations as to what had happened when twenty-six bodies were still trapped underground, it came into recognization that fifteen of the bodies were found and the remaining eleven were declared missing to this day and there were no signs of remnants to be found.

In the twenty six years following the explosion, there were still no speculation as to whether or not there were so many residents of Pictou County who are still waiting to discover what caused the mining explosion that killed the twenty-six men working underground. This is a tragedy that most people would consider as a prestigeous thought of unimaginable belize. A shallowed grave remains unmarked to this very day and there’s still no signs of recognition, anyone who believes the mining disaster was the worst disaster of all in the history of Pictou County would probably want to take a step forward in helping with their inquiries. It is said to be believed that a preliminary inquiry was being held to benefit for the glory and bravery of all mankind and to manifest certain dangers of unsourced nature.

An undermining experience with the world’s most renowned resource company has led astray to the fact that the worst mining disaster in Canadian history and in the history of Pictou County was the absolute worst of the worst and there was no solace to be found in the aftermath. That is why most Pictou County residents are still waiting for an answer to their prayers in finding relief that the Westray mining explosion was not an accident nor is it unsubstantial.

The only way to survive the aftermath of the tragedy is to leave no stone unturned, this is what needs to be explained during which time the scenery of the aftermath would be unfolded and the solitary being found in its presence would be restored to the unsourced material being found in solace to the unexplaniable truth behind the Westray disaster.
